EOC Update: wildfires regional update Saturday, August 30, 2025, 10:00 am

The Regional District is aware of several new wildfires in the region caused by last night's thunderstorms. Additional fires are expected to be discovered throughout the day as temperatures rise.

The RDOS Emergency Operations Centre is actively monitoring the situation and coordinating with response agencies, as well as municipal and First Nations partners.

No further action is required, a notification will be sent via Voyent Alert!
