June is internationally recognized as Pride Month. The Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen (RDOS) acknowledges and appreciates the work done by South Okanagan Similkameen Pride to support the local 2SLGBTQIA+ community.

“The Regional District is committed to promoting an inclusive and welcoming environment at all RDOS facilities, parks, and trails,” said Mark Pendergraft, RDOS chair. “Pride Month is a reminder that these are safe spaces for all to use and enjoy.”

South Okanagan Similkameen Pride encourages individuals, businesses, and organizations to celebrate Pride Month by hanging a Pride flag, making a donation to a local 2SLGBTQIA+ organization or youth group, or volunteering your time.
