INFORMATION RELEASE

The Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen (RDOS) is starting work on the resurfacing of the Spirit Park multi-use court in Electoral Area “E” (Naramata). The project is located at the end of Sherwood Place. 

Spirit Park is a community park in Naramata along Robinson Avenue to the southeast of Naramata Elementary School. The multi-use court provides recreational activities for the community throughout the year. 

The work will consist of demolition and removal of the existing asphalt, regrading of the subbase, and placement of a new asphalt layer. Construction is scheduled to start Wednesday, October 25, 2023. The anticipated completion date is Saturday, October 28, 2023. 

Traffic impact is expected to be minimal during construction. The turnaround at the end of Sherwood Place is anticipated to act as a construction staging area and may be blocked off from public use. Please respect all signage and the crews during construction.
