Electoral Area “F” – Faulder Zoning Review

Amendment Bylaw Nos. 2790.03 & 2800.18, 2023

Amendments are being sought in order to strengthen the policies and regulations governing subdivision and use of properties in the Faulder/Meadow Valley area and the four designated community watersheds in Electoral Area “F”.

  Amendment Bylaw No. 2790.03, 2023, proposes to amend Schedule ‘A’ (OCP Text) of the Electoral Area “F” Official Community Plan Bylaw No. 2790, 2018, by introducing new policies which speak to the protection, maintenance and management of water resources in the Faulder/Meadow Valley area and the four designated community watersheds in the electoral area.

  Amendment Bylaw No. 2800.18, 2023, proposes to amend Schedules ‘1’ (Zoning Text) & ‘2’ (Zoning Map) of the Okanagan Valley Zoning Bylaw No. 2800, 2022, by introducing a new Small Holdings Faulder (SH6) Zone for properties in the Faulder Water System and a new Watershed Resource Area (WRA) Zone for Crown parcels within the designated community watersheds.

These bylaws may also be inspected at the Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen office at 101 Martin Street, Penticton, BC, on weekdays (excluding statutory holidays) between the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. up until the close of the public hearing on Thursday, June 15, 2023.

Anyone who considers themselves affected by Amendment Bylaw Nos. 2970.03 & 2800.18, 2023, can present written information to the Regional District prior to or at the public hearing and may also speak at the public hearing. No letter, report or representation from the public will be received after the conclusion of the public hearing.
