The Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen (RDOS) will be holding a Public Information Meeting regarding proposed amendments to the Okanagan Valley Zoning Bylaw No. 2800, 2022.

The purpose of the amendment is to introduce new regulations and definitions for “mobile vendors.” More specifically, it is being proposed to allow for “mobile vendors” to operate on lands zoned Parks and Recreation (PR), as well as to review the suitability of allowing “mobile vendors” to operate in a wider range of zones including the Agriculture, Town & Village Centre, Commercial, Tourist Commercial, Industrial and Parks and Recreation zones within the Okanagan Valley electoral areas (i.e., Electoral Areas “A”, “C”, “D”, “E”, “F” and “I”).

Regional District staff will be available to answer any questions residents may have regarding the proposed amendment, and to also receive written submissions.
