INFORMATION RELEASE

The Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen (RDOS) is continuing its successful pop-up office initiative through the spring and summer of 2026, bringing information, resources, and staff directly into communities across the region.

This year, the RDOS will attend seven (7) established community events, creating convenient opportunities for residents, property owners, and visitors to connect with staff. By participating in these well-attended local events, the RDOS is making it easier than ever to access information, ask questions, and stay informed.

At each event, RDOS staff will be available to answer questions, share updates on services and projects, and provide valuable resources, including FireSmart and emergency preparedness checklists, Voyent Alert! information, and Emergency Support Services materials. Pop-up booths are designed to be welcoming and family-friendly, with light refreshments and activity sheets available for children and youth.
