Mine Creek Wildfire (K61891)

The RDOS continues to monitor the Mine Creek Wildfire (K61891) located along the Coquihalla (Highway 5), south of Coldwater River Provincial Park.

At this time, there is no impact to residents, properties, or structures within the RDOS.

The Coquihalla Highway has reopened for traffic.

Thompson-Nicola Regional District (TNRD) has issued an Evacuation Alert for the Brookmere/Murray Lake area, and an Evacuation Order for Juliet Drive.

The Fraser Valley Regional District (FVRD) has issued an Evacuation Alert for:

  • areas north of the Great Bear Snowshed, including the Coquihalla Summit Recreation Area, Zopkios Rest Area, and the old Toll Booth area

The Fraser Valley Regional District (FVRD) has issued an Evacuation Order for:

  • Coquihalla Lake Lodge and the Coquihalla Summit Snowmobile Club.

Holding Creek Wildfire (K61924)

The RDOS continues to monitor the Holding Creek Wildfire (K61924) in the vicinity of Whipsaw Trail near Wells Lake and Blackeyes/Whatcom Trail in Electoral Area "H".

At this time, there is no impact to residents, properties, or structures within the RDOS.
