The 2026 Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen (RDOS) budget bylaws are available to view on the RDOS website at rdos.bc.ca and on the Budget 2026 project page at rdosregionalconnections.ca.

The RDOS 2026-2030 Five-Year Financial Plan Bylaw No. 3134, 2026 was read a third time and adopted at the Thursday, March 5, 2026, meeting of the RDOS Board of Directors.

Budget timeline

  • Draft Budget 2026 was reviewed by the RDOS Board of Directors at two workshops on Thursday, November 13 and 27, 2025.
  • Draft Budget 2026 was given first reading at the Thursday, January 8, 2026, meeting of the RDOS Board of Directors, allowing community consultation to commence.
  • Budget presentations were held in Electoral Areas “C”, “D”, “G”, and “I”, snpink’tn Indian Band (PIB), and member municipalities (Keremeos, Oliver, Osoyoos, Penticton, Princeton, and Summerland).
  • A hybrid budget presentation was held at the RDOS office at 101 Martin Street in Penticton on Thursday, January 15, 2026.
  • Draft Budget 2026 received second reading as amended, at the Thursday, February 8, 2026, meeting of the RDOS Board of Directors.

Okanagan-Similkameen Regional Hospital District (OSRHD)
Okanagan-Similkameen Regional Hospital District 2026-2030 Five-Year Financial Plan Bylaw No. 175, 2026, was read a third time and adopted at the Thursday, February 19, 2026, meeting of the OSRHD Board of Directors.

RDOS Fees and Charges Bylaw
The Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen Fees and Charges Bylaw No. 3128, 2026, was read a first time at the Thursday, February 5, 2026, meeting of the RDOS Board of Directors. Bylaw No. 3128, 2026, was read a second time, as amended, and read a third time and adopted at the Thursday, March 5, 2026, meeting of the RDOS Board of Directors. The RDOS Board establishes fees and charges for various Regional District services and information. The Fees and Charges Bylaw is posted annually on the RDOS website.
