INFORMATION RELEASE

The Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen (RDOS) Spring Recreation Guide for April to June 2026 is now available to view online. Registration opens Thursday, March 19, 2026.

The Spring Recreation Guide showcases a vibrant mix of programs, events, and facility options across the RDOS. These programs are designed to keep residents of all ages active and engaged as the warmer months approach.

Whether you're interested in crafts, after-school programs, or drop-in activities, or if you're looking for yoga and fitness classes designed for older adults, including the popular ActivAge™ and Choose to Move™ programs, there’s something for everyone to enjoy this spring. The recreation guide will feature seasonal highlights, including Equinox Yoga, the Similkameen Fun Run/Walk, Youth Week, Movie Night, a Community Jam night and Outdoor Adventures.

This season, expanded information about RDOS parks is also included in the guide, providing residents with an overview of park locations and booking opportunities. The added content highlights local parks in communities such as Kaleden, Okanagan Falls, Naramata, and the Similkameen, showcasing spaces for outdoor recreation, family gatherings, sports, and community events.

This addition reflects RDOS Recreation’s ongoing effort to make park information more accessible and to encourage residents to explore and enjoy regional outdoor spaces throughout the spring and summer months.

Residents can create an online account using the RDOS Recreation Software to register for programs and book sports courts, parks, and facilities.
