Electoral Area Community Grant-in-Aid
The purpose of the Electoral Area Grant-in-Aid is to support the establishment and the operations of non-profit organizations serving the residents of the Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen. Applications from individuals, industrial, commercial or business undertakings are not permitted. Qualifying applications are sent to the Electoral Area Director for consideration and allocation of funding. Unless specifically requested and approved by the Electoral Area Director, applicants approved will not receive funding before August 1.

Please read these guidelines before completing the application forms. They contain important information concerning the Regional District Okanagan-Similkameen Community Grant Application forms.
The DEADLINE for 2024 Grant Applications will be Tuesday, July 2, 2024.
Applications can be submitted to your Electoral Area Director or the RDOS office in Penticton.
For budgeting purposes, new applicants should inform the Area Director of your intent to apply, including the approximate amount you will be requesting, as soon as possible.
APPROVED 2024 grants will be paid on Friday, August 23, 2024.
(Tax requisition funds are not received by the RDOS until August)
If your event is before this date, it may be possible to make alternative arrangements with your Area Director for an earlier payout.
