RDOS Alternative Approval Processes Conclude

News Article

The Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen (RDOS) recently concluded four alternative approval processes (AAPs), all of which were supported in moving forward.

“The alternative approval process requires that 10% or more of eligible voters submit official opposition forms against the proposed service in order to prevent the proposal from moving forward, says RDOS Chair, Mark Pendergraft. “If we receive less than 10% opposition, the proposed services are then established through bylaw.”
