Reduced winter hours at RDOS landfills beginning December 2022

Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen (RDOS) operated landfills in Penticton, Okanagan Falls, Oliver, and Keremeos have begun operating with reduced winter hours from the beginning of December 2022 to the end of February 2023. All RDOS landfills will be closed on statutory holidays and Boxing Day.

The Campbell Mountain Landfill in Penticton is closed on Sundays, effective December 1, 2022, to the end of February 2023. Winter operating hours are Monday to Saturday, 8:30 am to 4:45 pm.

The Keremeos Landfill is closed Wednesdays from December 2022 to the end of February 2023. Operating hours are Sundays from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm except on Sunday, December 25.  The Keremeos Landfill will be open on Saturday, December 24 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.

The Oliver Landfill opens later on weekdays during the winter. From December 1, 2022, to the end of February 2023, Oliver Landfill’s operating hours are weekdays from 12:00 pm to 3:45 pm and Saturdays from 10:00 am to 3:45 pm.

The Okanagan Falls Landfill is closed on Saturdays over the winter but remains open on weekdays from 10:00 am to 1:45 pm.
